Welcome To Historic West Seattle Junction!

Welcome to Historic West Seattle Junction! This site is currently under construction and will be offline for a brief time.

The purpose of Historic West Seattle Junction is to present a year-to-year history of the businesses of our main business district, the Alaska Junction. We will eventually expand with new sites covering the Admiral and Morgan junctions, and hopefully Alki, Delridge, High Point, and other districts on the West Side. Enjoy!

  1. Cool site. Thanks for creating it. I'm definitely Bookmarking this one!
I'm also hoping you can help me.
Back in '93-'94, I rode the Southworth-Fauntleroy boat and traversed through W.Seattle, as I had a job on Spokane street.
I remember finding and frequenting a restaurant that was at the intersection of California Ave. and Fauntleroy Way.
I thought it was called "The Continental" and I remember the marquee featured some kind of motif, like a ship's wheel.
Do you recall the name of the restaurant?
I remember the head cook was a former co-worker named Sandy. We worked at the old Magnolia Restaurant and Lounge in the mid 80's.
I'm pretty sure it was in the same building that now houses Zeek's Pizza and The Feedback Lounge.
Thanks for any help you can provide.
